The Ryan's Well Foundation inspires, motivates, and empowers children and adults to share Ryan's vision of a world where everyone has clean water. With partners in developing countries, the foundation works to provide clean water and related health services to water-poor people in developing countries. The Ryan's Well Foundation also eductates and advocates for widespread participation in its objectives, and inspires present and future leaders to realize their own global visions.

The Ryan' Well Foundation partnership with SWBP provides a platform for sharing the foundation's work in African countries with others. It also facilitiates community based connections between local groups in African countries and the Expedition team who will in turn share and translate their experiences/findings into educational materials for all involved.
