By completing this set of activities, students will determine

  • if owning a franchise is something you are suited for ?  Take a quiz to determine this. 
  • How to investigate whether a franchise is a viable business opportunity or not
  • If owning a cell phone franchise in a disadvantaged community in Africa is anything like owning a franchise in Canada or the U.S. ?
  • If there are cellular phone franchise success stories in disadvantaged areas in Africa.

Introduction to Business, Accounting Activity

By completing this set of activities, students will be introduced to accounting procedures including preparation of balance sheets and income statements.  Accounting software or spreadsheets can be used.
